Jarvis in Pago Pago Harbour

The US Coast Guard Cutter - Jarvis is in port at Pago Pago Harbour. It's here for the Flag Day celebrations which are on 17th & 18th of April.

We went on a tour through the boat with Petty Officer Ray and it was very interesting, like school trip interesting but interesting none the less! Some 100+ men and women make up the crew, cruising the waters from Alaska down to South America looking for illegal activity on the high seas. It seems like a good way to see the world.

Noah was most disappointed that the boat didn't take us anywhere. Talia enjoyed seeing her friends on other tours and waving to them.
